CH800i communication concept



The Sandvik CH800i series of cone crushers offer several new and upgraded features, such as more reliability and higher availability. But it’s on the inside of the machines that the real magic happens. Together with My Sandvik, a customer portal that provides information to a keep track on performance, the CH800i cone crushers (with an “i” for “intelligence”) are set to revolutionize the industry and transform the way mines and quarries are worked. Sandvik came to W asking for help on how to package these innovative products to the market, making sure that the customers would fully understand the benefits of connected crushing.


Backed up by bold statements, and concrete facts and numbers, as well as real statistics, we created a communication concept that clearly stated the benefits with the new CH800i crusher series – evolution on the outside, revolution on the inside. The visual language was close to minimalistic, putting focus on the digital benefits, but still with a look and feel that is true to Sandvik. By displaying the entire fleet, we showed that the upgrades – on the inside as well as on the outside – were relevant to all CH800i crushers. Together with the verbal message, the visuals formed a powerful and futuristic launch package.


With a strong and innovative concept as the base, we continued to develop deliverables such as a film, sales guides etc. to further establish Sandvik as the innovative market leader – now, as well as in the future.
