The HEXPOL Group is a world leader in the field of advanced polymer compounding and engineered gaskets, seals and wheels. Within these business areas, the HEXPOL Group has multiple brands within a very broad product portfolio. So, how should online visitors quickly find the product they are looking for without an extensive and complicated search/navigation? That’s what W was asked to help with.
To handle such a broad and often complex product portfolio, W created a new global website using WordPress Multisite solution –and a smart content creation tool, Elementor. In close collaboration with the HEXPOL Group, we created a modern, modular and flexible solution, enabling us to create many sites within one platform. In this case five websites based on one platform – all content can be broadcasted from one website to another, making the most of limited resources.
Thanks to this solution, W was able to offer the HEXPOL Group an entire network of sites to cover all their key business areas powered by a single WordPress installation. This makes it significantly easier for visitors to find the product(s) they are searching for, improve technical search engine optimization, and much easier for HEXPOL to offer a unified and consistent brand experience. An important step on the journey to convert visitors into prospects.
