Typhoid fever, caused by the bacterium Salmonella Typhi, is an acute, systemic infection that represents an important cause of morbidity and mortality in the developing world. With over 216,500 deaths annually worldwide, there is a huge need for vaccines to prevent further spread of the disease. Having distributors and affiliates all over the world, PaxVax wanted to make available, sales, marketing and medical material to all customer facing staff selling or discussing Vivotif®, so that they understood the brand and how to communicate the brand’s key benefits in their market.
To make the material more available and dynamic, W suggested developing an E-book for the different markets to download – a one-stop shop containing everything needed to understand the brand and how to work with the brand in their market – from brand strategy to promotion materials. An E-book is a cost-efficient solution to share important information and makes the information easily accessible offline, which was an important need in this project, as many distributors did not have access to the internal server at PaxVax. The global brand book also acted as central repository containing many affiliate’s promotional materials, which were also available on the USB-stick that contained the global brand book, making it easier for affiliates and distributors to access original high-resolution artwork files for local adaptation.
The first version of the global brand book has been delivered and the feedback has been very positive. Since the brand book contains both promotional and scientific material, it caters for many internal requirements, making it highly suitable for different situations and varying internal stakeholder needs.
